Negotiations Continue on School Budget Legislation

As the end of the legislative session looms (as early as midnight tonight), negotiations are continuing on HB 309, which allows schools the flexibility to spend money from various accounts to meet operating expenses; however, schools using this provision are prevented from granting pay increases. This legislation could impact school layoff decisions, such as those faced by TSC. It's pretty convoluted, but you can read more here.
