Pence Rules Out Run Against Bayh

Rep. Mike Pence has announced that he will not run against Sen. Evan Bayh in 2010. He cited his desire to continue in the House Republican leadership and his expectation that the House will be Republican after the election. Chris Cillizza also speculates that Pence is positioning himself for a run at the Presidency in 2012 and the Senate campaign would distract from that.
