J&C Speculates on Local 2010 Races
With the 2009 elections now safely in the past, perhaps it isn't too soon to begin speculating about who will run in local races in 2010. The Journal and Courier seems to think so, and offers the following:
David Sanders says he may once again run against Rep. Steve Buyer.
Former West Lafayette Councilman Paul Roales has announced that he will run against Rep. Randy Truitt for the Indiana 26th District seat.
And tea-bagger Donn Brown, leader of Citizens in Action, is contemplating a run against incumbent Rep. Sheila Klinker in District 27. Brown hasn't decided if he would run as a Republican or an independent: "Our philosophy goes along more to the Republican Party, but I'm so ticked off with them nationwide that I just haven't decided yet." Stay tuned!
