10:00Yes We Can Tippecanoe Community Service Event for MLK DayYes We Can Tippecanoe is hosting a community service event on Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 18, from 10 a.m. to noon at Food Finders, 50 Olympia Court, Lafayette. No experience necessary. Working at Food Finders is good and good for you! Bring a friend! (Food Finders requires participants to be 16 year old and above.) Sign up here or on YWCT's Facebook page. Please pass this information on to people you think might like to get involved in this community day of service.

Tippecanoe County Democrats General MeetingOn Tuesday, January 26, we will meet at Hanna Community Center at 6:00 p.m. and be joined by both Sam Locke, candidate for State Auditor (www.lockeforauditor.com) and Pete Buttigieg, candidate for State Treasurer (www.peteforindiana.com). Please check out their websites and join us at the meeting. We also hope to get Tom McKenna (www.mckennaforsecretary.com) to come soon. He is also considering a run for Secretary of State. Some of you may know Tom already as he has served in various capacities in both the Democratic party and administrations and labor.
